What is the "best" way to grant internet access to users Best Practices & General IT.We been deploying 2FA for our clients, mainly for their workstations due to insurance and extra security.So far we haven't had a issue with desktops but wondering if anyone done it with their servers, especially a domain controlller. Has Anyone Enabled 2FA for A Domain Controller (Using Duo)? Security.So you either has the whole suite and prevent users from using the desktop App by restricting Mapi access (which will break Outlook 2010 too) or you create a GPO / App Locker to prevent users running Outlook.exe in the Office 16.0 folder. the Office Pro Plus is the whole office suite, and this is not changeable. In the License editor you can only configure features of that license. Web App / Desktop App (MAPI) / Mobile (Active Sync / POP / iMAP etc. you can only exclude which Mail Services to access can access the O365 Mailbox. You cant exactly prevent users for using outlook or exclude the setup of it.

Nilstiebos - yeah with O365 you can't really customize the installation like you could with the actual install media for Offie 2010 / Office 2013 especially the O365 installer package, with the installation media disc you may be able to exclude outlook from installing, but I doubt this is possible with Office 2016 O365.
